Olympia College, Malaysia is now introducing the new Foundation in Business Program. The Foundation in Business Program aims to provide a structured program of development of leadership and management skills. Through this program, students will develop an integrated and critically aware knowledge and understanding of management and organizations. The program aims to develop transferable and intellectual skills which will enable individuals to enrich and improve on the practice of leadership and management skills.
This program is designed to equip SPM/ O-Levels or equivalent students to acquire the required academic study skills and English Language proficiency to continue their undergraduate study at local and foreign universities. This program also aims to provide students planning to undertake a business management degree with foundational knowledge and exposure to the world of business.
The Foundation in Business Program will:
- Develop knowledge- through lectures, seminars, case studies, discussions and presentations
- Thinking and Learning Skills- through structured group/ seminar discussions, written assignments, case studies and associated problem solving activities
- Practical Skills- through group work, case studies, workshops and undertaking data collection
- Skills for Life and Work- through report writing, presentations, team-work and independent study
The Foundation in Business program which is equivalent to A-Levels or STPM is internationally recognized and will prepare students for further studies in Business or IT, or any other field of your choice, improve academic and report writing skills to excel in top universities as well as help improve analytical, critical and presentation skills.
